Formed in 1985, Radiohead is a distinctive rock band giving fans experimental music. After being named one of the 100 greatest artists of all time by Rolling Stone, it comes as no surprise that Candlelight wants to celebrate the group’s impressive discography. Find your seat at a Candlelight tribute to Radiohead taking place at the striking Parthenon and be enchanted by classical takes on sonic layers and unorthodox sounds.
Candlelight Tribute to Radiohead
Since Radiohead’s debut single, “Creep”, became a hit around the world in 1993, they have gone on to release nine studio albums. Known for their sense of surrealism when it comes to both live performances and even music videos, some consider Radiohead to be an acquired taste more suited to “jaded music lovers”. However, the band’s originality and fresh sound cannot be denied.
And this season, you can rediscover Radiohead’s music like never before. A talented Listeso string quintet is set to take to the stage at The Parthenon. Prepare for “Fake Plastic Trees”, “Burn the Witch”, and more to be reimagined on the violin, viola, cello, and upright bass.
After having enormous success in cities around the world including London, Manchester, Madrid, New York, and L.A., Candlelight brings its unique experience to Nashville to pay tribute to one of the most popular and influential bands in the world, Radiohead. What’s more, with two performances taking place on the evening, you can choose a concert to suit your schedule.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
