A Journey to New Orleans
New Orleans is where early jazz found its heartbeat—and you hear it in the sway and swing that lights up the room. This program celebrates the Big Easy’s collective improvisation, syncopation, and conversation between melody and rhythm. Brass and reeds flirt with piano and percussion as musicians trade lines, build call-and-response, and let solos bloom—inviting you into a living tradition that still feels joyously present.
What Is ‘The Jazz Room’?
